Having held the position of General Manager of a subsidiary of the 'Papeteries de Belgique' (Sacma), Alec then became Managing Director of Design Packing before founding, with partners, a consultancy company specialised in global communications and company performance (Performer's Group).

As associate partner of this group, he was in charge of the Performer's Promotion and Wilson Learning companies.
In 1991 Alec decided to become an independent consultant, and since then has headed up numerous assignments in the USA, France and Belgium for large groups (Belgacom, Mastercard Europe) and for medium sized companies.

He is also an approved consultant of the Walloon and Brussels Regions and of the Brussels Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

His principal domains of expertise involve strategic diagnostics, the analysis of ongoing strategic processes along with long term assistance to executive boards.
